Terms & Conditions
These terms explain what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you, when you use this website or any of our online consultation and delivery services.
Last updated: August 2026
1. Who we are
Newton Drive Pharmacy is a community pharmacy located at Newton Drive Health Centre, Newton Drive, Blackpool, Lancashire, FY3 8NX, GPhC-regulated and operating under the NHS Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework. These terms apply to this website and to any online consultation, prescribing, or delivery service you access through it. They don't affect your statutory rights.
2. Eligibility
Online consultation services on this site are for adults aged 18 and over. Our free NHS emergency contraception service is available to patients in the Blackpool area; if you're outside that area, a private consultation may still be available, so contact us to discuss it.
Every consultation is reviewed individually by our pharmacist. Meeting the basic eligibility criteria above doesn't guarantee that a medicine will be supplied: that's always a clinical decision made after reviewing your answers.
3. How the online consultation works
You complete a short health questionnaire online. Our pharmacist reviews your answers, checks your eligibility, and may contact you for more information before making a clinical decision. We may decline to supply a medicine, recommend an alternative, or refer you elsewhere (for example to a GP, A&E, or a specialist clinic) if that's clinically appropriate.
This service, and the information on this website generally, is general guidance and does not replace an individual clinical consultation. Always read the patient information leaflet supplied with any medicine.
4. Cost
Where you're eligible for an NHS-funded service, there's no charge. Where a service isn't available on the NHS, we'll tell you the private price before you're charged, and nothing is dispensed or delivered until you've agreed to it.
5. Delivery
Where a consultation results in a medicine being dispensed for delivery, we send it by tracked Royal Mail post in discreet packaging to the delivery address you provide. Please check your delivery address carefully before submitting your consultation, as we dispatch based on what you give us.
Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and can be affected by factors outside our control, including Royal Mail service disruption.
6. Returns and cancellations
For your safety, and in line with pharmacy regulation, dispensed medicines can't be returned or exchanged once they've left the pharmacy, unless they arrive damaged or faulty. If there's a problem with your order, contact us straight away using the details below.
7. Complaints
If you're unhappy with any part of our service, please contact us on 01253 30 40 10 or blackpool@fyldehealthcare.co.uk so we can put it right. If you remain unhappy, NHS-funded services can also be raised through the NHS complaints procedure, and you can contact the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) about a regulatory concern at pharmacyregulation.org.
8. Liability
We provide our services with reasonable skill and care, in line with our professional obligations as a GPhC-regulated pharmacy. We don't exclude or limit liability for anything that can't lawfully be excluded, such as death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page.
