What is the morning after pill?
The morning after pill is emergency contraception. You take it to help prevent pregnancy when your usual contraception has failed or been missed. There are two types: one works for up to 3 days (72 hours) and the other for up to 5 days (120 hours). Both work best the sooner you take them. At Newton Drive Pharmacy in Blackpool it's free on the NHS if you're eligible.
Sooner is better
It works less well with every hour that passes. Start the form now and finish it in three minutes, rather than leaving it until the morning.
